03 — FAQ

{FAQ}

Everything a first-time minter usually asks.

What is a shielded BRC-20?

An sBRC-20 is a standard BRC-20 inscription with balances committed under a Pedersen commitment rather than in the clear. Transfers publish a zero-knowledge proof that the balance changes are valid, without revealing who moved how much.

Do I need a special wallet?

Any wallet that signs Taproot spends will work for the base BTC transaction. To view or spend shielded balances, you connect a viewing key generated on first use — it never leaves your device.

How is minting fair?

One mint per address, price locked, and the mint is capped. There is no allowlist, no team allocation, and the contract is the inscription — same rules for everyone.

Is the code audited?

The circuit and the indexer are public. A formal review by a third party is in progress; the report will be linked here on completion.

Are fees on top of the mint cost?

Yes. You pay the mint price plus Bitcoin network fees at the current mempool rate. A fee estimate is shown before you sign.
